James B. Crane, II - Mr. Crane, the Firm’s managing attorney, devotes most of his practice to governmental consulting, real estate, telecommunications, energy law and the representation of financial institutions. A graduate of Albany Law School, where he served on the Editorial Board of the Law Review, Mr. Crane started his career with Rogers & Wells, a major international law firm based in New York. At Rogers & Wells, Mr. Crane was a member of both the Corporate and Insurance Departments. Mr. Crane has experience in all phases of financings, and has represented companies in a variety of industries, including telecommunications, investment banking, manufacturing and energy production. During his career, Mr. Crane has represented a number of money center banks, insurance companies and other financial institutions in their lending activities and in legislative and regulatory matters. In addition, Mr. Crane was a member of the faculty of Albany Law School from 1985 to 1994, teaching courses in Securities Regulation and Banking Law.
